7th session of intergovernmental Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan commission began its work in Astana

The 7th session of the intergovernmental Kyrgyzstan - Kazakhstan commission on expansion of trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation began its work in Astana on Wednesday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Kyrgyzstan government.

Kazakhstan Today - The 7th session of the intergovernmental Kyrgyzstan - Kazakhstan commission on expansion of trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation began its work in Astana on Wednesday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Kyrgyzstan government.

The Minister of Industry, Energy and Fuel Resources of Kyrgyzstan Saparbek Balkibekov has been approved for the post of the co-chairman of the commission from the Kyrgyzstan party, the press service informed. The structure of the commission included the officials of the interested ministries and departments and the chairmen of Kyrgyzstan enterprises.

The co-chairman from the Kazakhstan party is Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan Duysenbay Turganov.

The questions promoting more dynamical development of mutual relations have been included in the agenda. The session participants will discuss the prospects of cooperation in the field of hydro-power resources, agriculture, development of transport communications and trade, prevention of emergency situations of natural and technogenic character. The members of the delegations plan to study the prospects of the work of the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan investment fund, the press service informed.
