Agreement on increase of capacity of Kazakhstan-Chinese oil pipeline signed in Beijing
Astana. October 15. Kazakhstan Today - The agreement on increase of the capacity of the Kazakhstan-Chinese oil pipeline up to 20 million tons a year was signed in Beijing, the agency reports citing the press service of prime minister of Kazakhstan.
According to the press service, the meeting of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, with the Prime Minister of the State Council of China, Wen Jiabao, took place today in Beijing.
Discussing the decisions made in Beijing and the signed agreements on increase of the capacity of the Kazakhstan-Chinese oil pipeline from 10 up to 20 million tons year, and construction of the second phase of the gas pipeline Beyneu - Bozoy, W. Jiabao said, "These days, Kazakhstan and China have made big steps towards cooperation," the press service informed.
"The establishment of long-term mutual relations in oil and gas spheres is demonstration of full political mutual understanding between our countries, between Kazakhstan and China."
"During the meeting, the officials discussed the prospects of realization of the projects in the non-raw sector, in finance, and rational use of the trans boundary rivers."
