Belarus can ratify Customs Code of Customs Union today
Almaty. June 30. Kazakhstan Today - Belarus can ratify the Customs Code of the Customs Union today. Vice Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Andrey Slepnev, informed during the conference of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Businessmen, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting.
"The Russian Federation and Kazakhstan ratified the Customs Code. The question of ratification by Belarus will be considered today. The situation with Belarus will be cleared up on July 5. In any case, we count that Belarus will be an active participant of the Customs Union," A. Slepnev noted.
The session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council at the level of prime ministers will take place on July 5, 2010 in Astana.
As already informed, in the end of May, Kazakhstan and Russia agreed to introduce the Customs Code of the Customs Union since July 1, 2010 on a bilateral basis. Belarus confirmed its intention to ratify this document by July 1 and to join the Customs Union.
