China, Russia and Kyrgyzstan supported creation SCO center in Kazakhstan

China, Russia and Kyrgyzstan supported creation of the SCO center for prevention and liquidation of emergencies in Kazakhstan. The Emergency Minister of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Bozhko, informed in Aktau at the fourth meeting of chairmen of emergency departments of the SCO member states on Friday, the agency reports.

Aktau. June 8. Kazakhstan Today - China, Russia and Kyrgyzstan supported creation of the SCO center for prevention and liquidation of emergencies in Kazakhstan. The Emergency Minister of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Bozhko, informed in Aktau at the fourth meeting of chairmen of emergency departments of the SCO member states on Friday, the agency reports.

"There was a proposal to gather the experts of the SCO member states in September, 2009 to consider the results of the discussion of the concept of the activity of this centre."

V. Bozhko explained that the concept consists in creation of the permanently operating structure with participation of all SCO countries, which will provide analytical information, coordinate the activity and supply the SCO countries with the necessary information on the positive experience, introduction of new technologies, and scientific researches in, first of all, prevention of emergencies.
