CIS experts to discuss amendments to agreement on mutual maintenance of safety of interstate secrets

The session of the expert group on completion and coordination of the project of the protocol on amendments and additions to the agreement on mutual maintenance of safety of interstate secrets will take place on January 22-23rd in the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk, the agency reports citing the message of the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

Almaty. January 21. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the expert group on completion and coordination of the project of the protocol on amendments and additions to the agreement on mutual maintenance of safety of interstate secrets will take place on January 22-23rd in the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk, the agency reports citing the message of the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

According to the press-service, the project of the protocol has been developed by the CIS Executive Committee and the experts of the CIS Antiterrorist Centre in conformity with cooperation with the Program for cooperation of the CIS member states in struggle against terrorism and other violent displays of extremism for 2008-2010.

The agreement on mutual maintenance of safety of interstate secrets was signed on January, 22nd, 1993 at the session of the Council of CIS prime ministers in Minsk. The document was signed by 10 states.
