CIS Presidents arrived at Central Moscow hippodrome

The Presidents of some CIS countries arrived on Saturday at the Central Moscow hippodrome for horseback-riding competition for the prize of the President of Russia, the agency reports citing RIA Novosti.

Almaty. July 20. Kazakhstan Today - The Presidents of some CIS countries arrived on Saturday at the Central Moscow hippodrome for horseback-riding competition for the prize of the President of Russia, the agency reports citing RIA Novosti.

The leaders of some of the Commonwealth countries, in particular, the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Armenia - Serzh Sargsyan, Azerbaijan - Ilham Aliyev, Moldova - Vladimir Voronin, Tajikistan - Emomali Rahmon, and the leaders of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Sergey Bagapsh and Edward Kokoyty, arrived at the hippodrome along with the President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev.

The program of today's competitions includes eight races and two rounds. Big International Prize, the Prize of the National Horse-Breeding Union, the Prize of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Prize in honor of the 175th anniversary of the Central Moscow hippodrome and a number of others are played along with the prize of the President of Russia.

During the competitions, the Presidents discussed urgent problems in an informal atmosphere.

As informed earlier, the President of Kazakhstan, N. Nazarbayev, will hold bilateral meetings with his Russian counterpart, D. Medvedev, and the head of Azerbaijan, I. Aliev.
