Conference of Ministers of Internal Affairs of OIC countries opened in Baku

The Conference of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) started its work on Tuesday, the agency reports.

Baku. April 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Conference of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) started its work on Tuesday, the agency reports.

Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Halaf Halafov, said that carrying out of the conference will contribute to struggle against world criminality.

Delegations of the OIC countries of high level and the representatives of some of the international organizations are taking part in the work of the conference.

The conference participants will discuss the questions of cooperation in struggle against transnational organized crime, international terrorism, extremism, aggressive separatism, illegal circulation of weapons, drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, trade in people, illegal migration, attempts of legalization of money and property obtained in a criminal way through financing of terrorism and corruption.

The conference will finish its work on April, 22nd by acceptance of Baku declaration of the conference of chairmen of the law enforcement bodies of the OIC member countries.
