Consulate of Kazakhstan opened in Antalya

Astana. October 9. Kazakhstan Today - A consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened in the Turkish province of Antalya, Kazakhstan Today reports.

"On the eve of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkey, scheduled for October 7, 2012, the Consulate of Kazakhstan officially opened in Antalya", the press service of the Foreign Ministry informed.

During the opening the Kazakh ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev reported that in 2012 various activities with domestic business leaders, cultural and humanitarian activities with Kazakhstani creative groups are being held in the province of Antalya.

"It is also important that the province of Antalya is one of the priority for Kazakhstani tourists. Thus, in 2011 the number of Kazakhstan tourists in Turkey was more than 300 thousand people, most of which visited Antalya", the press-service noted.

Also the MFA informed that during the reception on the occasion of the opening of the Consulate a photo exhibition was organized on the major milestones of the Kazakh-Turkish relations over a 20 year period.
