Cooperation protocol between Kazakhstan and Russian CEC signed

The chairman of the Central Electoral Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kuandyk Turgankulov, and the chairman of the Central Electoral Committee of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Churov, signed the protocol of cooperation and exchange of legal information between Central Electoral Committee of Kazakhstan and the Central Electoral Committee of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg on June 18, 2009, the agency reports citing Central Electoral Committee of Kazakhstan press service.

Astana. June 23. Kazakhstan Today - The chairman of the Central Electoral Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kuandyk Turgankulov, and the chairman of the Central Electoral Committee of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Churov, signed the protocol of cooperation and exchange of legal information between Central Electoral Committee of Kazakhstan and the Central Electoral Committee of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg on June 18, 2009, the agency reports citing Central Electoral Committee of Kazakhstan press service.

The parties expressed hope that signing of the document will give a new impulse to development of the Kazakhstan-Russian cooperation in the sphere of improvement of the election process, transition to actual partner relations, and direct communications between election bodies of two countries.

According to the press service of Central Electoral Committee of Kazakhstan, signing of the protocol of cooperation and exchange of legal information between Central Electoral bodies of Kazakhstan and Russia is an important and timely step towards further development of cooperation within the common integration processes.
