Council of Prime Ministers of SCO states signed a package of documents

The session participants of the Council of Prime Ministers of SCO states signed a package of documents in Dushanbe, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

Almaty. November 25. Kazakhstan Today - The session participants of the Council of Prime Ministers of SCO states signed a package of documents in Dushanbe, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

Following the results of the session, the documents were signed: financial report of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on execution of the SCO budget for 2009, the SCO budget for 2011, redistribution of expenditure estimates of the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Executive Committee of Committee of the Regional SCO Antiterrorist Structure for 2010, the joint communique on the results of the session of the Council of SCO Prime Ministers, and the protocol of the SCO Secretariat on the course of realization of the program of multilateral trade and economic cooperation of the SCO member states.

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, the Chinese Premier Wen Jinbao, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Roza Otunbaeva, the Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and Vice Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Batir Hodzhaev, will take part in the work of the session. The Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Akil Akilov, will preside over the session.

The SCO was formed on June 15, 2001 in Shanghai at the initiative of six states: China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan have the status of SCO observers.
