CSTO representatives to take part in OSCE mission of observers in Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone

Kazakhstan Today - The representatives of the member states of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) are ready to take part in the mission of OSCE military observers of in Georgian-South Ossetian zone of conflict. Adviser of CSTO Information Department, Vitaly Strugovets, informed the agency.

According to V. Strugovets, "this decision was accepted at the summit of Ministers of Defense of CSTO member countries taken place on August 21." Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia stated their intention to take part in the mission of OSCE military observers.

"CSTO Secretariat is interested in participation of representatives of the member states of the organization in the mission of military observers as it will raise objectivity of monitoring in the zone of conflict," N. Bordyuzha emphasized.
