Customs Union Commission to consider draft agreement on import customs duties

The Customs Union Commission will consider at the next session the draft agreement on import customs duties on January, 27 in Moscow, the agency reports citing the message published on an official site of the Customs Union Commission.

Almaty. January 14. Kazakhstan Today - The Customs Union Commission will consider at the next session the draft agreement on import customs duties on January, 27 in Moscow, the agency reports citing the message published on an official site of the Customs Union Commission.

The questions of development of the projects of some documents concerning contract-legal base of the Customs Union will be considered at the session.

In particular, it is planned to consider the question of the draft agreement on establishment and application in the Customs Union of an order of transfer and distribution of import customs duties, other duties, taxes and tax collections having an equivalent value.

The session participants will also consider the question of maintenance of functioning of the uniform system of non-tariff regulation of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

The session participants will also discuss the initiatives of the Russian Federation concerning changes of import customs duties rates of the uniform custom duties of the Customs Union.

The decision on creation of the Customs Union was accepted by the Presidents of the EurAsEC countries on October 6, 2007. Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan created the Customs Union Commission in October, 2008.
