Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan to hold joint talks with WTO

The members of the Customs Union - Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan - will carry on negotiations with the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding introduction to the organization based on the earlier reached positions beneficial for our unified customs territory. First Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Igor Shuvalov, informed on June 25th after VI session of the Customs Union Commission in the interview to RIA Novosti, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - The members of the Customs Union - Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan - will carry on negotiations with the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding introduction to the organization based on the earlier reached positions beneficial for our unified customs territory. First Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Igor Shuvalov, informed on June 25th after VI session of the Customs Union Commission in the interview to RIA Novosti, the agency reports.

He explained that Russia has managed to advance in the negotiations with WTO at the national levels of three countries than its customs union partners and achieve some positive conditions in some positions. "We have agreed with our partners that we will hold joint talks with WTO based on the earlier reached positions beneficial for our unified customs territory," I. Shuvalov noted.
