Deliveries of irrigation water from Kyrgyzstan to the southern regions of Kazakhstan will be resumed today. The head of Regulation, Use and Protection of Water Resources Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Muhtar Zhakenov, informed.

Astana. May 21. Kazakhstan Today - Deliveries of irrigation water from Kyrgyzstan to the southern regions of Kazakhstan will be resumed today. The head of Regulation, Use and Protection of Water Resources Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Muhtar Zhakenov, informed.

"Our delegation headed by Vice President of the Agricultural Ministry in Bishkek and our representatives here say that the question of water delivery renewal has been solved," M. Zhakenov informed.

He also said that the official explanation of the Kyrgyz party about the reasons of stopping of water delivery was repair works.

As informed earlier, water deliveries from the Kirov water basin were stopped the day before.
