Dmitry Medvedev met President of Kyrgyzstan

The President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, held bilateral negotiations with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, on September 5, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

Bishkek. September 8. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, held bilateral negotiations with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, on September 5, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

According to the press service, during the meeting the leaders of the states discussed questions of further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the countries, including - attraction of the Russian investments into water-power engineering sphere of Kyrgyzstan, in particular, in construction of hydro electric power station Kambarat-1 and Kambarat-2.

The parties also discussed the questions of expansion of military-technical cooperation both within CSTO and in a bilateral format.
