Eight documents signed at CIS session of Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs

Eight documents were signed at CIS session of the Council of the Ministers of Internal Affairs in Baku on Friday, the agency reports.

Baku. September 7. Kazakhstan Today - Eight documents were signed at CIS session of the Council of the Ministers of Internal Affairs in Baku on Friday, the agency reports.

The agreements on information interchange in the sphere of struggle against criminality, on increase of efficiency of cooperation in struggle against criminality in the sphere of information technologies, on information interaction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states on formation, conducting and use of the centralized registration, on cooperation in the sphere of professional training have been signed. The parties signed the Instruction on the uniform procedure of interstate people manhunt. Azerbaijan and Russia signed with Uzbekistan bilateral protocols on interaction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2008 - 2009.

The questions of improvement of organizational-legal base of cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been considered at he session.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Rashid Nurgaliyev highly estimated the results of Baku session. He informed that the Russian delegation has supported the proposal on carrying out in the second quarter of 2008 joint complex operation on the CIS territory under the code name Passenger.

The next session of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs will be held in 2008 in Georgia.
