Eight documents signed at fifth forum of leaders of frontier states

Eight documents were signed following the results of the fifth forum of the leaders of frontier states, the agency reports.

Aktobe. September 23. Kazakhstan Today - Eight documents were signed following the results of the fifth forum of the leaders of frontier states, the agency reports.

In particular, the forum parties signed the protocol on introduction of amendments and additions to the agreement between Kazakhstan government and the government of the Russian Federation on check points through the Kazakhstan-Russian frontier of December 23, 1998, the protocol on amendments and additions to the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on construction on the Kazakhstan-Russian frontier of automobile check points for joint control of the border of October 3, 2006.

The parties also signed Memorandum of cooperation between Committee of Customs Service of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, JSC Company Kazakhstan temir zholy and federal customs service of the Russian Federation, Open Society Russian railways, Memorandum between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on cooperation and development of highways connecting Western Europe - Western China along the route St. Petersburg-Kazan-Orenburg-Aktobe-Almaty-border of the Peoples Republic of China.

The parties also signed the agreement between Western Kazakhstan oblast of Kazakhstan and the Astrakhan oblast of the Russian Federation on frontier trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation; the agreement between akimat of the Western Kazakhstan oblast of Kazakhstan and the government of Saratov oblast of the Russian Federation on trade and economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian cooperation, the agreement on intention on establishment of strategic partnership between JSC Company Asia AUTO, Open Society AUTOVAS and the Eurasian Development Bank.
