Elizabeth II responded to letter of girl from Aktobe

Her Majesty also sent the picture of her as a keepsake.
Reigning Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II responded to the request of the Kazakhstan citizen and expressed the hope that the girl would visit England, Channel One Eurasia reports.

Zarina Akhmetzhan from Aktobe has been keen on English culure from the childhood. Being fascinated by the multi-century aesthetics of the European state, Zarina set a goal to visit England. And, to vist Buckingham Palace and the Queen. After that she decided to write a letter to the Queen once she learned the English language.

From the childhood, I has been keen on the English language, English culture. Therefore, I decided to write a letter of Elizabeth II. I required a month, and I was thinking whether to write or not," said Zarina.


The girl started to doubt. "The Queen will unlikely to notice my address." But, despite being unsure, Zarina wrote a letter with a request for a meeting. And, she was suprised when she received an envelope from Buckingham Palace.

I was waiting for a response for about three of four months. But, honestly, I was suprised! She wrote that she appreciated my letter, wrote about the impossibility to meet with the people she would like to meet. And, she even put such a picture of her in an envelope as a keepsake," she said.


Zarina keeps the letter of the Queen with appreciation and plans to visit England to study. The girl prepares for exams.
