European Commission prolonged term of registration of foreign audit firms including Kazakhstan till July 1, 2010

The European commission has prolonged term of registration of foreign audit firms, including Kazakhstan, carrying out the activity in the territory of the European Union, till July 1, 2010, the agency reports referring to Internet-edition Gaap.ru.

Almaty. August 8. Kazakhstan Today - The European commission has prolonged term of registration of foreign audit firms, including Kazakhstan, carrying out the activity in the territory of the European Union, till July 1, 2010, the agency reports referring to Internet-edition Gaap.ru.

According to the edition, within two more years "the auditors from non-European countries can pass procedure of compulsory registration, not interrupting their services."

Audit companies are obliged to provide certain minimum of financial information to the European investors and submit to the EU instruction on mandatory audit.

According to the edition, EU Commission indulgence concerns the USA, Russia, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Bermudas, Brazil, Canada, Cayman islands, Chile, China, Croatia, the state of Guernsey, Jersey, isle of Man, Hong-Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, the Republic of South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates. "All the other countries should follow "complete set of legislative registration requirements."
