Foreign Ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan signed plan of cooperation for 2008

The Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Russia - Marat Tazhin and Sergey Lavrov signed the plan of cooperation for 2008 on Monday, the agency reports.

Astana. October 30. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Russia - Marat Tazhin and Sergey Lavrov signed the plan of cooperation for 2008 on Monday, the agency reports.

"The plan covers all fields of activity of two countries and practically all key problems of international life," S. Lavrov said at the press conference after the ceremony of signing.

"We are allies in CSTO, partners in CIS, EurAsEC and SCO. I would also like to note our close cooperation within the limits of other international organizations - the United Nations and OSCE," he noted.

"We support the candidature of Kazakhstan for the post of chairman of this organization," the Minister added.
