Hu Jintao to visit Kazakhstan
Astana. February 23. Kazakhstan Today - The visit of the chairman of the Chinese National Republic, Hu Jintao, to Kazakhstan is planned for this year. The details of the forthcoming visit were discussed today during the meeting of the Secretary of State - the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabaev, with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China, Yang Jiechi, which took place during K. Saudabaev's visit of the Peoples Republic of China, the agency reports citing the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
According to the press service, during the meeting, the officials discussed the details of preparation of the visit of the chairman of the Chinese National Republic, Hu Jintao, in 2010.
According to the press service, "the officials also discussed the course of realization of the top level arrangements, cooperation issues in trade and economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, energy, global and regional safety, and sharing and protection of the transboundary rivers.
"The Ministers of Foreign Affairs expressed readiness in activization of cooperation in the area of foreign policy departments, in particular, carrying out of foreign affairs ministries consultations. K. Saudabaev invited Yang Jiechi to visit Kazakhstan."
