According to Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, the special representative for the Caspian Sea Mohammad Mehdi Ahunzade said Iran does not recognize and does not accept the agreement on the Caspian Sea signed between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.

Ahunzade informed.

Beginning the negotiations on the Caspian Sea status, all five states agreed to reach a decision by consensus. Iran and Turkmenistan have not reached a consensus yet.
