Kazakhstan Ambassador handed over credentials to Emir of Qatar

Astana. June 14. Kazakhstan Today - The Ambassador of the Republic Kazakhstan to the State Qatar Azamat Berdybay handed over credentials to the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifah al-Thani in Doha. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs press service informed the agency.

According to the press service, the parties after the ceremony discussed the questions of deepening and expansion of the relations between two states in various spheres. Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Qatar is further developing; the countries have reached high level of interaction in political, economic and cultural spheres.

Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifah al-Thani highly estimated successes of Kazakhstan in development of democracy, carrying out of political reforms and economic achievements of the country under leadership of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The Emir of Qatar emphasized that his country is interested in further development of mutually advantageous cooperation with Kazakhstan in all directions. In this connection, he informed of the intention to pay visit to the Republic in August or September of 2007 by the invitation of the Kazakhstan leader. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifah al-Thani informed that in the near future the Embassy of the State Qatar will be opened in Kazakhstan.
