Kazakhstan and Russia discussed questions of military-technical cooperation

Kazakhstan and Russia discussed important questions of military-technical cooperation during the seventh session of the subcommittee on military-technical cooperation of the Kazakhstan-Russian Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission held in Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the press service of the Russia's Federal Military Technical Cooperation Agency.

Almaty. December 15. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Russia discussed important questions of military-technical cooperation during the seventh session of the subcommittee on military-technical cooperation of the Kazakhstan-Russian Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission held in Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the press service of the Russia's Federal Military Technical Cooperation Agency.

"The parties discussed important questions of bilateral military-technical cooperation and the main directions of its further development. Special attention has been paid to the question of modernization of its standard-legal base," the press service informed.

The session participants signed the protocol. The next session of the subcommittee on military-technical cooperation is planned to be held in the third quarter of 2010.

According to the press service, the representatives of Russia's Federal Military Technical Cooperation Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, JSC Rosoboronexport and the enterprises of defense-industrial complex, Kazakhstan representatives of the Ministry of Defense, Industry and Commerce, and some industry enterprises took part in the meeting.
