Kazakhstan concluded a temporary agreement on free trade with Iran

The EAEU platform will expand an access to the products of Kazakhstan in the market of third countries through trade agreements.
Kazakhstan plans to conclude a temporary agreement on free trade with Iran. It was said by Vice Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Baurzhan Bekeshev at a press conference in the CCS.

According to the Vice Minister, the Eurasian economic union will enable to expand an access in the markets of third countries to the products of Kazakhstan through mutually beneficial agreements.

For instance, as the agreement on free trade says, which was concluded in 2015, export to Vietnam is realized. In this connection, the volume of export increased by more than 20 times.

Also, for today the process of talks on the agreement on free trade with Iran is completed.

We plan to conclude a temporary agreement with a 3-year term, within which it is planned to improve the conditions of an access to the market of Iran for products form the EAEU states, including a whole range of products of Kazakhstan production. They include pasta, meat, beans, rolled metal products, capacitors, accumulators, armature. It will enable to increase the volumes of export," the Vice Minister of National Economy said.


Baurzhan Bekeshev said that a trade and economic agreement of cooperation with China was concluded.

The agreement with China is focused to create conditions for the improvement of mutual trade. Also, the agreement should be an exchange tool of information and prevention of barriers to promote mutual trade. In our opinion, it is important when businessmen know the conditions to enter the market," Mekeshev said.
