Kazakhstan delegation to take part in 64 session of UN General Assembly

Kazakhstan delegation headed by the State Secretary - Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabayev, will take part in the work of the 64 session of the UN General Assembly, which will take place on September 23 in the UN headquarters in New York. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev said at the briefing in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the agency reports.

Astana. September 21. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan delegation headed by the State Secretary - Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabayev, will take part in the work of the 64 session of the UN General Assembly, which will take place on September 23 in the UN headquarters in New York. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev said at the briefing in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the agency reports.

"The session participants will discuss the priority questions - struggle against poverty, human rights, climate change, and the United Nations reform," Y. Ashikbayev explained. During the work of the UN General Assembly, the head of the Kazakhstan delegation will take part in the general debate and will make a report at the Conferences for support of the Contract on Universal Prohibition of Nuclear Tests and in the annual coordination meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, " K. Saudabayev will preside in the general debate of 64th of the UN General Assembly as one of Vice Presidents of the UN General Assembly on September 25."
