Kazakhstan, EU to discuss priorities of cooperation within EU partnership strategy with Central Asia

Kazakhstan and the European Union will discuss priorities of cooperation within the European strategy of partnership with Central Asia in Brussels. The press secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Ilyas Omarov informed at the briefing on Saturday, the agency reports.

Astana. May 19. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and the European Union will discuss priorities of cooperation within the European strategy of partnership with Central Asia in Brussels. The press secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Ilyas Omarov informed at the briefing on Saturday, the agency reports.

"On May 19 the meeting of the national coordinator on interaction with the European Union, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kayrat Sarybay with the chairman of Directorate for East Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Gunnar Vigand will take place in Brussels," the press secretary informed.

"During the meeting the parties plan to discuss the project of the document Priorities for Kazakhstan "within the Strategy of New Partnership of EU and Central Asian countries and the questions of cooperation with EU in the context of the developed program Way to Europe."
