Kazakhstan FM, Bulgarian FM discussed questions of cooperation of two countries

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin and vice Prime Minister, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Ivaylo Kalfin, who arrived on Monday in Astana, discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation, the agency reports.

Astana. September 4. Kazakhstan Today - The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin and vice Prime Minister, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Ivaylo Kalfin, who arrived on Monday in Astana, discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation, the agency reports.

In the Kazakhstan Minister opinion, Kazakhstan and Bulgaria have big potential of development of cooperation in the sphere of energy, tourism, and transport.

In his turn, I. Kalfin expressed interest of Bulgaria in strengthening of cooperation with Kazakhstan in the sphere of energy. "We discussed with the Minister the questions of cooperation in the field of energy," he said in the interview to journalists after the meeting. In I. Kalfin's opinion, it is very important to develop bilateral cooperation in the sphere of nuclear energy, hydropower engineering and in transportation of energy resources. "Kazakhstan is interested in the common project in construction of the pipeline Burgas - Alexandroupolis."
