Kazakhstan has been for NATO key partner in Central Asia
Astana. September 11. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan has remained for NATO a key partner in Central Asia. NATO Deputy Secretary General, Claudio Bisogniero, said at the meeting with the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Danial Ahmetov, the agency reports.
"Kazakhstan has always been for NATO a key partner in Central Asia," C. Bisogniero said.
"Today we achieved good successe in relations with Kazakhstan," he emphasized.
"I note positive dynamics and intensive strengthening of relations of Kazakhstan and NATO," D. Ahmetov said. "I wish to emphasize that expansion of constructive cooperation with the alliance, the European states, and the USA is a priority direction of foreign policy of Kazakhstan," the Defense Minister said.
