Kazakhstan hopes for successful completion of the negotiations with South Korea on construction of the petrochemical complex in Atyrau. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, informed at the press conference in Akorda today, the agency reports.

"I think that we will successfully complete the negotiations on construction of the petrochemical complex in Atyrau for manufacture of carriages, delivery of underground carriages and other carriages of Hyundai Company," N. Nazarbayev said.

The head of the state informed that "the group of Kazakhstan experts will shortly departure for Seoul to study the experience of anti-recessionary planning in Korea."

As informed earlier, on April, 29th the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, assigned Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna and JSC National Company KazMunaiGas to carry out the negotiations with Korean Company LG Chemical regarding participation in the project of construction of the petrochemical factory in Atyrau.
