Kazakhstan, Libya to increase mutual commodity turnover

Kazakhstan and Libya came to common opinion in strengthening of measures promoting expansion of contacts in the sphere of business and increase of commodity turnover between the countries.

Astana. December 3. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Libya came to common opinion in strengthening of measures promoting expansion of contacts in the sphere of business and increase of commodity turnover between the countries. It became known today during the meeting in the House of government of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov with the Secretary of the National Committee for international communication and cooperation of Libya Mohammed Omar al Barrani, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

K. Masimov noted that the relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Libyan Arab Jamahiriya have significant prospects and extensive opportunities.

The parties discussed the course of the work of the second session of the joint Kazakhstan-Libyan intergovernmental commission.

K. Masimov and M. Barrani expressed confidence that "mutual understanding as a result will be reached and precise prospects on further bilateral cooperation in political, trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres will be planned, the press service informed.
