Kazakhstan, Oman to accept joint plan of actions in foreign policy

Following the results of the first round of Kazakhstan-Oman foreign affairs consultations, the parties plan to sign the corresponding protocol and the plan of action of the Ministries for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sultanat Oman for 2008.

Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the first round of Kazakhstan-Oman foreign affairs consultations, the parties plan to sign the corresponding protocol and the plan of action of the Ministries for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sultanat Oman for 2008. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev informed today at the briefing on Monday, the agency reports.

"The purpose of the visit of the Kazakhstan delegation to Oman headed by vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Nurlan Ermekbayev is carrying out of the first round of the Kazakhstan-Oman foreign affairs consultations. During consultations the parties will discuss perspective directions of interaction of two states in political, trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, and also further cooperation between Astana and Muscat within the limits of the international and regional organizations and forums," Y. Ashikbayev said.

N. Ermekbayev will visit Al Kuwait to hold foreign affairs consultations with the Kuwaiti party, where he will be accepted by vice prime minister, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kuwait sheikh Muhammad. The visit of the Kazakhstan delegation to Sultanat Oman and the State of Kuwait will take place on February 9-10.
