Kazakhstan ratified protocol on joining of Bulgaria and Romania of PCA

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law on ratification of the protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union and their member states and on joining of Bulgaria and Romania the PCA agreement, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. July 20. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law on ratification of the protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union and their member states and on joining of Bulgaria and Romania the PCA agreement, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

"Kazakhstan and European Union will sign the protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) in September, 2008 in Brussels."

"In December, 2008 the European Union informed on completion of the interstate procedures necessary for coming into force of the protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement."

"According to subparagraph 4 of the article 11 of the law of Kazakhstan of May 30, 2005 on the international contracts in Kazakhstan, "the document is subject to ratification," Vice Minister of Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, K. Zhigalov, said.
