Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine to create working group to study creation of pool of grain exporters

Astana. June 10. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine will create a working group to study the experience of creation of a uniform pool of grain exporters. Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed during a briefing on Tuesday, the agency reports.

"We have agreed to create a working group of three countries to carefully study the question of creation of the grain pool, taking into account the interests of each country," A. Evniev informed.

Vice Minister reminded that the idea of creation of the grain pool was initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev at the opening ceremony of World Grain Forum taken place in St. Petersburg on June 6-7th.

"The main priority of the state policy in the sphere of the grain market is the interests of agricultural commodity producers of Kazakhstan, the interests of all participants of the grain market of Kazakhstan. We would like each country to satisfy its own interests and to receive maximum benefits by participation in the grain markets," A. Evniev informed.
