Astana. May 27 Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan should not depend on Kyrgyzstan in regards to irrigation water supply. The Majilis deputy, Amangeldy Momyshev, stated during the plenary session of Majilis of Parliament in the corresponding inquiry addressed to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

"There are many irrigated lands that needs to be watered in the Zhambyl area of Kazakhstan. How long we will be dependent from Kyrgyzstan in regards to water delivery, how long we will depend on them? If we do not solve this question, we will continue experiencing inconveniences," the deputy considers.

"If we do not solve these questions, we will continue asking our neighbors to provide several areas of the Zhambyl region with water. We should discuss this question at a higher state level."

Addressing the Prime Minister of the country, A. Momyshev said that "the water delivery system is one of the key questions." "Therefore, once and for all, we need to solve this question. We must construct an object that could provide the regions with water," he considers.
