"Kazakhstan is true to the policy of maintenance of good-neighborhood in the Caspian Sea region and considers the most appropriate to establish the sovereign zone in 22 - 25 miles, the outer boundary of which would be state boundary. Such compromise decision, as a matter of fact, could satisfy the interests of all Caspian countries and will allow beneficial cooperation of the states," the head of the state explained.
