Kazakhstan to join International Association of Judges

Kazakhstan intends, first among the post Soviet countries, to join International Association of Judges. The chairman of Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, Musabek Alimbekov, informed in Supreme Court of Kazakhstan at the selector meeting with participation of chairmen of regional and area courts, the agency reports.

Astana. April 20. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan intends, first among the post Soviet countries, to join International Association of Judges. The chairman of Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, Musabek Alimbekov, informed in Supreme Court of Kazakhstan at the selector meeting with participation of chairmen of regional and area courts, the agency reports.

"As a matter of fact, the judicial system of Kazakhstan has come closer to the international standards that allows judicial community of Kazakhstan to apply for membership in the international association of judges and we have the right to expect that Kazakhstan will be the first among the judicial bodies of the post Soviet space to join this international organization," the chairman of the Supreme Court informed.
