Kazakhstan to take part in energy summit in Bulgaria

Kazakhstan will take part in energy summit in Bulgaria. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during Monday's briefing, the agency reports.

Astana. April 28. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan will take part in energy summit in Bulgaria. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during Monday's briefing, the agency reports.

"Energy summit 'Natural Gas for Europe: Security and Partnership' will take place on April 24-25th in Bulgaria. Representatives of 28 countries of the Southeast Europe, the Black Sea, the Caspian regions, and Central Asia have been invited to take part in the summit. Kazakhstan will be represented by Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Lyazzat Kiinov," Y. Ashikbayev informed.

According to the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "the forum is aimed at involving the main energy partners of EU in the dialogue concerning energy safety."

The forum participants will consider the tendencies and principles of the European energy policy.
