Kazakhstan took part in work of forum concerning Iraq International Agreement

Astana. May 10. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan took part in the work of the forum on coming into force of the Iraq International Agreement, which was held in the Egyptian city Sharm El Sheikh, the Kazakhstan MFA press service informed the agency.

According to the press service, the General Secretary of the United Nations Sir Ban Ki-moon, the Prime Minister of Iraq Nuri al-Maliki, the Foreign Minister of the USA, the Great Britain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Peoples Republic of China, Iran, and Kuwait took part in the forum. The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador to the Arabian Republic Egypt Bagdad Amreev represented Kazakhstan at the meeting.

According to the press service, following the results of the forum the resolution has been accepted. "The government of Iraq and the international community intend to strengthen partnership directed at improvement of the life of Iraqi people, restoration of Iraq and acceptance of further measures for the prompt establishment of the political system based on pluralism, democracy and federalism in the country," the resolution states.
