Kazakhstan, Turkey signed strategic partnership contract

Kazakhstan and Turkey signed the contract on strategic partnership, the agency reports citing official mass media.

Almaty. October 22. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Turkey signed the contract on strategic partnership, the agency reports citing official mass media.

"We earlier had such an agreement, but this time we have expanded and concretized it. It is aimed at the future," the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said at the press conference, following the results of the negotiations with the President of Turkey, Abdullah Gul.

The President of Turkey, Abdullah Gul, said that the signed contract on strategic partnership is the unique document signed between the Turkic countries and the Central Asian states.

During the visit, the officials signed the agreements in military-technical cooperation, in tourism and the environmental protection.

According to official mass media, the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has been awarded the highest state award of Turkey.
