Kazakhstan-Russian consultations to be held in Astana

Kazakhstan-Russian consultations concerning tolerance with participation of the management of profile departments will be held on August 25 in Astana within the process of preparation of Kazakhstan for the presidency in OSCE in 2010. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during the briefing in the department, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan-Russian consultations concerning tolerance with participation of the management of profile departments will be held on August 25 in Astana within the process of preparation of Kazakhstan for the presidency in OSCE in 2010. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed during the briefing in the department, the agency reports.

According to the diplomat, during the consultations, the officials plan to discuss some initiatives and proposals of Kazakhstan. "During the consultations, the officials plan to discuss some initiatives and proposals of Kazakhstan directed at maintenance interethnic and confessional concord in the OSCE region," Y. Ashikbayev said.

The consultations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will be held on August 24-25. Y.
