Kyrgyzstan government promises to review issue of boundary territory with Kazakhstan
Bishkek. April 11. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kyrgyzstan promises to continue reviewing the issue of boundary territory with Kazakhstan, even if today the Parliament ratifies the contract on the border between two countries, the agency reports.
As the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Askarbek Beshimov explained today at zhogorku kenesh session, the Constitution of the country contains the norm about revision of the state frontier.
Thus, the chairman of the Department for Regional Affairs of the governmental body of Kyrgyzstan Salamat Alamanov commented that as those, Kyrgyzstan does not have borders with Kazakhstan.
"After ratification of the contract we will be able to start revision of the issue," the official concluded.
Today the Parliament discusses the question on defining of the boundary line between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan regarding 15 sites.
