Kyrgyzstan hosts sessions of two commissions of CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

Bishkek. June 9. Kazakhstan Today - The sessions of two permanent commissions of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly began their work in Kyrgyzstan, the agency reports citing the press service of zhogorku kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service, the work of two permanent commissions of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly - on culture, information, tourism and sports, and on studying the experience of state and local government formation began in the city of Cholpon-Ata of Issyk-Kul region.

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council, Michael Krotov, and Deputy Speaker of Supreme Rada of Ukraine, Nikolay Tomenko, are taking part in the sessions.

The agenda of the first commission - model bills on the Internet, on passport and visa documents and other identification documents of the new generation, on electronic state services, on telemedical services, on physical training and sports. The project of the model Code of Intellectual Property for the CIS member states and a number of other questions will be considered at the session.

The participants of the second commission will consider the project of recommendations on the common principles of the territorial organization of local self-government and coordination of a package of the appendices to the Convention on Frontier Cooperation of the CIS member states.
