Kyrgyzstan President signed laws on Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan cooperation

The President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev signed the laws directed at strengthening of the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan cooperation, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

Bishkek. April 15. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev signed the laws directed at strengthening of the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan cooperation, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

One of the laws, signed on July 4, 2006 in Astana, approves ratification of the intergovernmental agreement on mutual protection of the classified information, the press service informs. Another law attaches legislative force to the contract on providing financial grant between KfW (the German credit organization, Frankfurt-on-Maine), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan for the sum of 1 million 200 thousand euro for the project Preparation and Improvement of Professional Skills, accompanying the Program for struggle against tuberculosis in Central Asia." The contract was concluded on August 23 2007 in Bishkek.

It is the third law directed at strengthening of the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan cooperation, the press service informs. As it was informed earlier, the President of Kyrgyzstan signed the law on ratification of the agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on mutual recognition within the frontier territories with Kazakhstan Issyk-Kul, Talass and Chu oblasts of Kyrgyzstan and frontier areas with Kyrgyzstan Almaty and Zhambyl oblasts of Kazakhstan of tourist visas of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan issued to the citizens of the third states.

The document signed on April 26, 2007 in Bishkek assists expansion of bilateral and multilateral partnership in tourist sphere and development in the Republic of the industry of tourism.

According to the press service, K. Bakiyev signed a number of other laws, including on carrying out of joint military doctrines by the SCO states and on maintenance of protection of civil aviation from illegal intervention.

All these laws have been accepted with a view of realization of the interstate procedures necessary for the international contracts to come into force according to the legislation of the Kyrgyzstan Republic.
