Leading scientists of SCO countries defined 14 directions of joint researches

Chairmen of National Academies of Sciences of the SCO countries at the forum in Novosibirsk Academgorodok defined 14 priority directions of joint scientific researches, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

Almaty. July 7. Kazakhstan Today - Chairmen of National Academies of Sciences of the SCO countries at the forum in Novosibirsk Academgorodok defined 14 priority directions of joint scientific researches, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

According to Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Alexander Aseev, among priorities of joint scientific researches - nano - and biotechnologies, geological prospecting of energy carriers, energy system, laser technologies, ecology, and scientifically-educational program.

Scientists, in particular, intend to find out how to preserve ecological equilibrium and nature's diversity, how to struggle with desertification in the Central and Northern Asia, what climatic changes can be expected on the planet. "The governments of our countries expect from us, scientists, the answers to these questions," the academician A. Aseev underlined.
