Lithuanian FM suggested realization of initiatives during Kazakhstan's presidency in OSCE

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Lithuanian Republic, Vigaudas Ushatskas, during the meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, suggested realization of joint initiatives during the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in OSCE in 2010, the agency reports.

Astana. June 8. Kazakhstan Today - The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Lithuanian Republic, Vigaudas Ushatskas, during the meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, suggested realization of joint initiatives during the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in OSCE in 2010, the agency reports.

According to V. Ushatskas, Lithuania supports the idea that Kazakhstan will be the first country on the post-Soviet territory to preside in OSCE. "We talked with the Minister about those spheres and initiatives, which we could develop and realize together during your presidency," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania said.

V. Ushatskas reminded that Almaty will host business forum with participation of 20 Lithuanian businessmen. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania has expressed hope that during the business forum Kazakhstan and Lithuania will find solutions to support the economy of two countries during the global crisis.
