Majilis chairman met CIS Inter parliamentary Assembly Secretary General

Prior to the 29th plenary session of Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan chairman Aslan Musin met the Secretary General of the CIS Inter parliamentary Assembly Michael Krotov in St. Petersburg on Monday, the agency reports referring to the Majilis press service.

Kazakhstan Today - Prior to the 29th plenary session of Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan chairman Aslan Musin met the Secretary General of the CIS Inter parliamentary Assembly Michael Krotov in St. Petersburg, the agency reports referring to the Majilis press service.

According to the Speaker of the Lower Chamber of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, during the period of work of the CIS Inter parliamentary Assembly has unified more than 250 of the legislative acts, which assist in integration and cooperation of the economy of the CIS countries. The most active harmonization of laws is observed in the activity of EurAsEC, the initiator if which has been the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The meeting of Aslan Musin with the chairman of the CIS Inter parliamentary Assembly, the chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Mironov has been planned for October 30.

As it was informed earlier, the Kazakhstan members of Parliament will take part in the work of the Inter-parliamentary assembly of the state-participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Parliamentary assembly of the CSTO, the Bureau of the EurAsEC Inter parliamentary Assembly as well as the 29th plenary session of the CIS Inter parliamentary Assembly on October 29 - November 1.
