Next session of Commission on Water Bio-Resources of Caspian Sea to be held in Ashkhabad
Baku. December 2. Kazakhstan Today - The Department of Reproduction and Protection of Water Bio Resources of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan informed the next session of the Commission on Water Bio-Resources of Caspian Sea will take place in Ashkhabad on December 5-10, the agency reports.
"During the session its participants planned to coordinate and define the admitted quotas for the near-Caspian countries on catch of sturgeon fish and on export of black caviar for 2009. The session participants will also make the reports on quotas of catch of sturgeon in 2008 of each of the near-Caspian countries and the work done in the field of protection of fish stocks," the department informs.
During the forthcoming session the parties plan to discuss implementation of the new procedure of defining of quotas of sturgeon catch for each of the Caspian littoral states.
