OSCE chair speaks in support of pulling snipers back from contact line in zone of Karabakh conflict

The Secretary of State - the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the OSCE chairman-in-office, Kanat Saudabaev, at the press conference in Yerevan, spoke in support of pulling snipers back from the contact line in the zone of the Karabakh conflict, the agency reports citing the news agency REGNUM Novosti.

Almaty. February 16. Kazakhstan Today - The Secretary of State - the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the OSCE chairman-in-office, Kanat Saudabaev, at the press conference in Yerevan, spoke in support of pulling snipers back from the contact line in the zone of the Karabakh conflict, the agency reports citing the news agency REGNUM Novosti.

According to S. Saudabaev, the success of the process of resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is only in the hands of the parties of the conflict. All other participants of the process - assistants that is OSCE can only stimulate the process.

"We have cautious optimism concerning further prospects of development of this situation."

"Kazakhstan knows the history of the conflict - our President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has been involved in resolution of the conflict since 1991 when along with the President Yeltsin he visited this region. All these years he has been observing development of the situation," K. Saudabaev said.
