Other countries may join Customs Union on earlier signed conditions
Almaty. May 31. Kazakhstan Today - Other countries may join the Customs Union on the earlier signed conditions. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, said at the press conference after the Customs Union's supreme body session taken place in St. Petersburg, the agency reports citing official mass media.
"We express an interest in joining the Customs Union by other countries, but on those conditions, which have been signed earlier," K. Masimov said.
The Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin, explained that many EurAsEC member countries expressed intention to join the Customs Union and then the uniform economic space. He said that now there is a question of economic readiness of these countries for such integration. The economic base for integration, according to V. Putin, has been gradually created.
